I was born in Nacogdoches, Texas. I lived several years of my life in Center, Texas and the surrounding areas before moving to Shreveport, Louisiana. Moved back to Etoile, Texas and finished high school in 2005. After high school I moved back to the Shreveport area in 2005 and have settled in Benton, Louisiana. Benton has been home ever since. I am married and have one son and two daughters.

I worked with my mother and father throughout middle school and high school building and remodeling houses. My father built houses and remodeled for a living and my mother worked a normal job while flipping houses we lived in, on the side. I have been exposed to the construction world my entire life and it’s all I’ve ever really known.

I worked a few different jobs after high school until I started working for TriStar Security, a locally owned business out of Bossier City, Louisiana. I was an installer/technician for security systems, CCTV, access control, home automation, & home theater systems for seven years. I really enjoyed this type of work and the people I worked for, but I soon found myself in a place where I needed to make more money and unfortunately, in my current career path, I couldn’t go any higher than where I was. I decided to start working in the resurfacing industry. I did that for three years. There I was, a resurfacing technician specializing in resurfacing countertops and bathtubs, but I wanted more… I then decided to leave there and open my own business and haven’t looked back since.

Conner Blanton

Operations Supervisor / General Contractor

My name is Conner Blanton and I am from north east Mississippi. I grew up in a small town close to Mississippi State University. Go Bulldogs! I graduated from New High School in 2005 and attended college at Mississippi State University for Women. I married the love of my life in 2010 and gained an amazing daughter too. In 2011 we decided to make the huge decision to move to Bossier City, Louisiana. Where my husband joined the oil field, and I began my career in multi-family housing. We have two boys who are my world. Being a boy mom definitely keeps me on my toes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My professional career started here in Bossier in the apartment industry. I started as a leasing agent and worked my way to Property Manager in just a few years, which is a huge accomplishment in a very competitive market. Under my leadership I was able to lead great teams and properties to industry leading accomplishments. While serving as Property Manager for Stockwell Place Apartments in 2019, I won an award for “Newcomer of the Year” through Element Property Management.

In 2020, I was presented with the opportunity to join Geaux Pro Service & Restoration as their operations supervisor. This is a company I was very familiar with because they had been performing work on my properties for years. I was honored to accept the position. Over the past couple years, the knowledge and training I have gained has been astonishing. Geaux Pro Service & Restoration was gracious enough to send me to school and I am now a license Commercial and Residential General Contractor. I have also been sent to XACT ware training and hold an Xactimate Certification. I am very excited about what the future holds for Geaux Pro and myself.
